Questions at the edge of data & society

Doctoral candidate · Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia

I study how online publics form, fragment, and deliberate — combining network analysis, NLP, and ethnographic fieldwork across Indonesian digital spaces.

Research agenda

Current themes

Three interlocking lines of inquiry that shape my dissertation and collaborative projects.

01

Online deliberation

How civic conversations scale on WhatsApp, Twitter/X, and local forums — and when they fail to produce shared understanding.

02

Networked publics

Mapping influence, brokerage, and silence in Indonesian issue networks using mixed computational and qualitative methods.

03

Responsible NLP

Building language resources for Indonesian low-resource settings while auditing bias in classification pipelines.
